Training Services

With our experienced staff we will supply the basic training needed to succeed in the political world.  We offer 3 types of training.

Effective Presentation Workshop:

        This workshop is for small groups, and usually takes 4 sessions.  We will work with the groups on the fundamentals of public speaking and using the three basic types of presentations - Animated, Informative, and Persuasive.  Each member of the group will be given an opportunity to make presentations on the three types, will be video-taped,  and will be given a CD for their personal use and reference.  This workshop is a more detailed hands-on approach for gaining confidence in the world of  public speaking. 

Communication Skills and Conducting Effective Meetings:

       This workshop will cover necessary communication skills such as active listening techniques, conflict management, and interacting with the public, including greetings and conducting Q & A sessions.  In addition, participants will be shown the critical components of conducting a successful meeting and how to implement them successfully.  This workshop is 4 hours in length. 

Municipal Project Management:

        After meeting with key political figures in Somerset County we have developed a lecture program on the fundamentals of Municipal Project  Management.  This program will assist newly elected officials with handling some of the daily work that will come their way. This workshop is 4 hours in length.
